Our History
In 1972, a pastor in India sent a letter to a woman residing in the USA, requesting help for his orphanage. From that letter a decades-long friendship developed, and in 1984, a child sponsorship program began. By 1994, what began with a simple letter had grown into a new, incorporated 501(c) 3 international non-profit, India Partners. Since then India Partners has collaborated with numerous indigenous partners agencies, bringing hope and help to hundreds of thousands in India.
