A Message from Brent Hample, President/CEO

Greetings and Peace to you.

As you may know, about 20 years ago, God called me and some friends to found India Partners. Since then, with your support and prayers, He has blessed India Partners with growth and an ever-expanding vision for the poor of India.

For several years now, I have been hearing God’s gentle, small voice in prayer urging me to a change in my life’s calling.

After much prayer, and with peace about it, I have asked the India Partners Board of Directors to begin the process of finding my successor for CEO.

I do not know what God is calling me to specifically at this time, but I trust His guiding hand.

India Partners continues to grow, and I believe God has great plans for the work of India Partners going forward.

The year 2012 was another record revenue year for India Partners, our third in a row. For the first time ever, our total annual revenue from donors like you was over $1 million. Because of your support, these dollars translated into transforming over 81,000 lives in India during the year.

I am so thankful for your support. You have played such a large and crucial role in our success in reaching so many lives. And even though you may never meet these people, I can tell you that they are so appreciative of you. They pray that God will bless you, your families, and all that you do. They may not know your name, but they thank God for you. I cannot begin to express how much they feel blessed by your support, and how their lives have been changed for the better because of your support for India Partners.

Although my time as the CEO of India Partners is coming to a close, I am so excited about the future of India Partners.

For example, the capable staff of India Partners are working on expanding our Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene program to help villagers in India to understand how to prevent diseases and illnesses from unclean water and unsanitary living practices.

We are working to help rescue more children from the red light districts, to teach more women tailoring skills so they can earn daily food for their children, and to find more sponsors for children so they can go to school and grow up healthy.

These are just a few of the wonderful miracles that we are going to be able to accomplish this next year with your future gifts.

Because of you and your love and gifts for the poor of India, many more who are downtrodden will be blessed.

P.S. When I came back from my first trip to India in the late 1980’s, I would travel around speaking at any church, school, and rotary club that would have me. At the end of my talk, I would usually end with a prayer and this scripture verse:

Matthew 25:31-46. And I just love verse 40: “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
