FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

EUGENE, OR, Dec. 14, 2010 – India Partners’ Gifts Worth Giving (GWG) Catalog offers holiday shoppers an opportunity to help meet the most severe needs of people in India by providing food, clean water, education or medical assistance.
“Each gift in our Gifts Worth Giving Catalog is carefully selected based on the greatest needs of our partners in India,” says Brent Hample, President/CEO. “Gifts like these literally help someone to live another day.”
The GWG Catalog, introduced in 2007, includes 12 meaningful gift ideas that change on an annual basis. This year an emu gift was introduced, as emu farms are a growing method of agriculture in India. The birds initially provide eggs for a family to eat or sell, and as offspring are born, can be passed on to another family for self-sustaining income. Each emu donated from this year’s GWG Catalog will help stock an emu farm, which is being built as a self-sufficiency project to support 12 families, 50 to 75 needy children and 40 to 60 needy widows and widowers.
Each tax-deductible gift includes a suggested donation, ranging from $10-$175. All gifts may be given in honor of a loved one, who will then receive a holiday card with a personalized message informing them of the gift given on their behalf.
Several notable gift ideas for this year include:
